Basic supplements for muscle gains, fat loss and health.

 

Every other client is asking his trainer this: What supplements should I buy? Should I take Protein shake? And so on. Well, here is an article on that topic with my opinion:)

 

First of all, I would like to let you know that the basic supplements you might need completely depends on your goals. But as our main purpose here are health, fat loss and muscle building, I am going to list and explain the supplements preferred for those objectives.

 

I believe that people often get it wrong in the first place. For weight loss clients ask about fat burners. For muscle building skinny guys ask about creatine or even roids. But number 1 thing that is vital to understand is this: any fitness goal will only be achieved on a background of good overall health.

 

So it means that you will achieve results much faster only in case of properly functioning organs and glands, healthy metabolism, no nutrient deficiencies and so on. So to meet this primary purpose first, you need LEVEL 1 Stack, which includes:

 

– Multivitamins and Minerals 

– Vitamin C (Yes, as an extra)

– Omega 3 Fish Fats 

– Greens + Detox

Briefly about the benefits of each. Multivitamins and minerals are important to make sure there is no micro nutrient deficiencies. Each vitamin and mineral is responsible for providing its specific segment of health with its needs. Vitamin C is a king of vitamins. It is proven to be effective against free radical buildup, bacteria, improves immune system and a lot more. To get the dosage you need, especially if you train a lot and hard, I highly recommend buying it separately to hit 1000mg + a day. Omega 3 improves your insulin sensitivity, brain function, hormonal function and a lot more as well (I am primarily describing benefits they provide for our fitness goals). Greens + Detox cleanses your organs and especially gut for better food absorption, as well as alkalizes your body which is very important for recovery.

 

Ok let’s say you can easily afford it all and you want to go further, here is a LEVEL 2 stack, which includes:

 

– Protein (or gainer for hard gainers)

– Creatine

– Probiotics

– BCAAs

– Glutamin

  – Pre-workout

 

I don’t think I need to explain a lot about proteins and gainers as well as what they do. Creatine, as most people know, helps with strength gain primarily (and muscle growth as a result of that). It also serves as avery good anti-catabolic, improves brain function and speeds recovery between sets. BCAAS are branched chain amino acids that play the most significant role in muscle recovery and sparing. Big amount of muscle tissue also consists of Glutamine, which makes it very important for recovery too. Glutamine also boosts your immune system. Probiotics improve your gut health and help absorb more nutrients (better nutrient absorption – faster growth). Pre-workouts help you boost pump, energy and strength for the workout session itself.

Also there is a whole bunch of other supplements that can aid in your goals, I will relate them to LEVEL 3. You can buy them if you are completely free financially, but they are not the biggest priority at all. Here are some of them:

– Digestive Enzymes

– HMB

– Fat Burners

 – Nitric Oxide (L-Arginine)

– L-Citrulline

– GABA and Melatonin

– Ashwaganda
